Radioactive drains 2
May 8, 2011 in Uncategorized
This is a follow up on the soil soil sample scraped up from the drain near Ebisu, Tokyo last week. To test for decay rate, Allan has measured the gamma/beta/alpha level. Measurements were taken over 6 days and show negligible decrease in readings. This would tend to rule out short-live radionuclides such as Iodine 131. A likely source is Cesium 137.
