Radioactive deck chairs

The pancake detector is up & working and made a startling discovery on the balcony in Meguro. Deck chairs and table that have been exposed to the elements and covered in dirt and dust has come up positive . 43 uR/hr, about 4x normal background levels. See Video below.

Thats amazing! Can you wash the chairs with a hose and then take a reading agan! I have a herb garden on my balcony in Ebisu that I use for cooking & after seeing your experiment I will give them a miss this year! Thanks for highlighting this and sharing your findings, truly appreciated.

Yes I would wash any edible plants real well before cooking!!
